True beauty comes from within – we all know this saying. Our personality, our well-being and our charisma have a decisive influence on how we are perceived by others. But our diet also has a direct effect on our appearance, especially our skin, hair and nails, and it is therefore important to know which foods have a positive effect on our beauty and thus count as “beauty food”. We want to give you a few tips and ideas, which beauty food you can easily integrate into your everyday life and improve your daily beauty routine – and the whole thing with pleasure.

BERRIES

Especially in summer, we rely on berries that grow right outside our front door – strawberries, raspberries, currants and blueberries can be easily planted and picked in the garden itself or sourced regionally. The berries contain a lot of vitamin C and vitamin E, which boost collagen formation. Furthermore, berries are antioxidants and therefore help us reduce visible signs of aging.

We love to enjoy the berries simply as a small snack between meals, but also like to eat them for breakfast in yogurt and with oatmeal. Due to the natural sweetness of the berries, no further added sugar is necessary and the breakfast is not only delicious but also healthy. We like to use white balsamic vinegar, olive oil, a little salt and pepper. Sometimes we also mix some yogurt and curry powder into the dressing, which gives the salad a special flavour. PARSLEY

The kitchen herb parsley provides if it is consumed raw, especially vitamin A and C as well as iron. The great thing about it is that you can simply put a small pot of parsley in the kitchen or plant it on the balcony or in the garden and always harvest it fresh from the plant. We refine many dishes with fresh parsley to add even more valuable nutrients to our food. For example, parsley goes great with potatoes, various salads, lentils and fish.
